Siblana Events is an event and floral design company that specializes in translating client dreams into design. The company’s full service approach includes custom stage and centerpieces and on-site installation. Founder and CEO, Rehana Bhaiji, is a scientist by training. While working in the food and nutrition industry full-time, she helped family, friends, and the local community with their event floral design. In 2015, she launched Siblana Events in her garage. Over the next five years she left her previous career to work full-time in floral design and eventually hired friends and family that she trusted. As the business continued to grow, she moved from storage units into a rental 4,600 sq warehouse.
SBA 504 Loan with SomerCor
In 2022, Rehana teamed up with SomerCor loan officer, Lis Williams, and First Women’s Bank banker, Emily Mattes, on an SBA 504 loan to finance the purchase and renovation of a permanent headquarters.

Their new location in Niles is a 24,000 SF building with three floors and ample parking that offers additional space for design, production, and retail. This building was previously a specialty grocery store and needed major exterior renovations to transform the outside of the building that faces a main thoroughfare.
