SBA 504 Building Purchase
With growing demand, Weis saw an opportunity to scale up. He partnered with SomerCor for funding through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 loan program and purchased a 30,312 square foot facility. The purchase nearly tripled company operating space, giving Aurora Sign Co. the opportunity to increase output and add seventeen full-time jobs to their roster. In addition to more square footage and new job opportunities, purchasing a building allowed Weis to build equity instead of paying rent.
