Owners Chase Aylesworth and Alec Murphy founded Front Line Ag in 2022 – consolidating their existing companies into a single entity. Front Line Ag provides quality agricultural products and dedicated services for local growers in Central Illinois. In addition to seed sales, the company also offers seed treatment, scouting programs, and other customized solutions to fit the needs of a specific farm.

Based in Mount Pulaski, Front Line Ag is the only seed dealer in the area that provides comprehensive agricultural services and advanced technology to help growers maximize yields. To support their growth and best serve their customer base, Aylesworth and Murphy partnered with SomerCor to finance the purchase of land and ground-up construction of a 7,920 square foot building for seed storage, as well as heavy equipment.

By financing with an SBA 504 loan, the owners avoided the eventual balloon payment of conventional financing. Instead, the 504 program provides fixed financing at competitive rates for up to a 25 year term.
