Founded in 2014 by beauty industry veterans, Erica Douglas and Anthony Standifer, mSEED Group LLC is a beauty product development and contract manufacturing company. mSEED Group provides strategic growth solutions to aspiring entrepreneurs and established businesses in the beauty and personal care industry. Their services range from contract manufacturing, research and product development, to marketing and branding strategy. The firm has helped launch over 150 brands, many of which are founded by entrepreneurs of color.
SBA 504 Loan with SomerCor
Since the pandemic, company revenue has doubled and staffing has increased to keep up with the demand. In 2021, the team at mSEED partnered with SomerCor loan officer, Lis Williams, to purchase and renovate a new headquarters. The new location is 10 times the size of the previous property they were renting. Now the company is building equity, expanding their customer base, and operating at a facility fit to their specific needs.
