Small Business Administrator Jovita Carranza testified today before the U.S. House Committee on Small Business. The Honorable Jovita Carranza was sworn in on January 7, 2020, as the 26th Administrator of the SBA. The focus of the discussion was her overall vision for the agency, the Administration’s FY2021 budget request, and the opportunities and challenges that exist for small businesses participating in the SBA’s programs. She also emphasized her commitment to increasing access to capital for women, minority and veteran-owned businesses.
