SBIF Client Feature Story: In-On Thai
Company Profile
After closing their first location due to neighborhood redevelopment, In-On Thai owner, Atichat Srisawangpan, along with his wife and mother-in-law, looked at several new spaces to reopen. He found a home in the Uptown neighborhood and with help from the Uptown Chamber of Commerce, he applied for the SBIF grant.
SBIF Grant Impact (Wilson Yard)
The new In-On Thai location was a blank canvas that the owners were able to personalize and update. The project included framing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and painting work. The construction featured the build-out of an additional restroom and creation of a new vestibule with an aluminum glass door.
“The SBIF grant provided us with the ability to restart our family business in a new community,” In-On Thai owner Atichat Srisawangpan said. “We took a empty space and designed a restaurant that pairs well with our outstanding food.”
