Production Rentals Chicago (PRC) was founded in 2016 by Monoleto Wilborn and Natasha Olguin as an event rental supply company that specializes in equipment primarily used in the film and media industries, with bonus services of refuse and snow removal. They provide clients with tables, chairs, tents, hand washing stations, changing rooms, hair and makeup stations, AC units, surface protection items and more. PRC prides itself on high quality products and exceptional service.
SBA 504 Loan with SomerCor
At its start, the company operated out of storage units, and then later a rental space that they quickly outgrew. Between 2019 and 2021, PRC increased its sales by 60%. At that time, Wilborn and Olguin decided the next step was to purchase a warehouse. PRC partnered with SomerCor on an SBA 504 loan to purchase a 30,500 sqft building in West Garfield Park, with the intention of expanding the business, hiring more employees, and creating a workforce development and entrepreneur program for the community.
