Plus, the SomerCor team was on hand last week for the groundbreaking for the Xquina Incubator Cafe in Little Village. Per the Chicago Tribune, this three floor project will include “a cafe, business incubator, media multi-purpose room and a shared commercial kitchen on the first floor, a co-working office, private offices, podcast room and video production on the second floor and a local artist gallery, event space and workforce training rooms on the third.”

This project was in part funded by a NOF grant. SomerCor is proud to act as administrator of the grant on behalf of the city of Chicago. Our organization is excited about the transformational impact of projects, like Xquina Incubator Cafe, in the Hispanic community and neighborhoods throughout the city.
